Antique Cimex

Hey Guys

I'm fairly new to this encapsulation process. But I happened to find an old brown cimex for cheap so I could test this out. It has the 3 carpet brushes with it and a tank. what else will I need? any good suggestions on the tricks to make this thing work properly.

Rick, It sounds like the unit I have. Assuming it is in good running order it will work fine. I have found that the brushes tend not to work well on commercial, the machine does not handle well, perhaps it is just my Cimex but when I started useing the Hair pads instead of the brushes then the process worked well. Instead of the brushes you will need the pad driver(3 of them) along with the hair pads. Rick Gelinas can supply them, unless the brushes work for you.

The old brown "antique" should still be able to serve you well. The advice above is good. I'd recommend the Puff pads. You can use any good encapsulator. My favorite is Spin Vac. If I can help you out give me a call, and we'll try to get you up and running.
