It was awesome!
The encapsulation class went well. I talked about the Cimex and encap from a business standpoint and Mark from DSC talked about the technical side of it. Everyone seemed to enjoy the class (I mean nobody fell asleep). Several of the guys did thank me afterwards and said that they were happy to learn about this since they’ve turned down lots of commercial work - and they now saw that doing commercial is feasible.
The demos was where the strength of this system was seen. Even down to looking at the cleaned carpet compared with dirty carpet under a microscope... those that looked at the encapsulated carpet under a microscope were shocked at what they were seeing. The encapsulated carpet compared favorably with other methods. And there was always a crowd around when the Cimex was running with several folks taking a turn running the machine.
Encapsulation should now be appreciated even more for what it really is – an exceptional way to clean a commercial carpet. But don’t ask me. Go ask the other cleaners who were there. Ask them on the other boards if they liked what they saw.
