I just received the February ICS magazine and read Joe Domin’s article about “encapsulation” with a degree of amusement. It seems that everyone in the industry is now intrigued by the word encapsulation and wants to include it in their latest buzz. In this case Mr. Domin wrote an interesting article about chewing gum, enzymes and deodorizers. However Mr. Domin didn’t consider the use of encapsulation as it’s applied to carpet cleaning. It was an interesting use of the word encapsulation, but it did nothing to help the common cleaner learn anymore about the science of encapsulation cleaning.
On the other hand Bob Wittkamp wrote a very interesting article about commercial cleaning that I can get behind. Well done Bob! Bob is a veteran that is still thinking and learning. It’s a joy to have folks in the industry like Bob to associate with.
