Rick..you ever heard through the grapevine what the nationals are actually charging the chains for carpet cleaning?? we get paid .05...r they in the .10 cent range or higher?

I have a pretty good idea that they're retaining 2 cents. So if they pay 5 cents they would be getting 7 cents.

Here's a funny true story for you. In 1983 a good friend in another city approached me to do commercial retail carpet cleaning. He was getting this work from a national at the time. He offered me to do some of the work for him in my area. I agreed. He was paying me 7 cents for this work in 1983. So in other words, he was getting the work from a national, he was making a little money out of the deal, and he was still paying me 7 cents. The commercial market has NOT improved in 20 years!!! That's what led me to look for faster systems. Necessity.

Same stagnated pricing in professional window cleaning,or worse! Bldg's that went for $2500 10 years ago, go for $2000 now.

This is across the board, hence..why the Greenie cleans carpets now.
