SV and Cimex- still amazing!

Tony

Well I got to do another job today with the Cimex. This place is a Propane bulk center offices with gravel parking lots and work lot. This place had bad footprints everywhere- like someone stepped into oil or something and walked everywhere. I started with a good pile lifting of the entrance areas. Then a good vacuuming of all the areas as they were not done. Then I brought out the cimex. Initially I was only going to clean the lesser used offices with it and HWE the rest. So as I went along, I saw that most spots and spills were coming out. So I just kept going, from bad to worse areas. In the end, I wound up doing it all with the Cimex, SV and some pog spotter. My wife was with me and at first I asked her if she thought I could clean it with the Cimex and she said--NO WAY-- and she has seen the cimex on several other jobs before. When I was done she said that she is shocked at how well it cleaned. Never did she think it could clean that well.

I am going to go back tomorrow and make sure everything dries the way it looks like now, just so that it will show great on Monday.

By the way the carpet is 2 years old- never cleaned before, a brown and tan speckled low pile commercial carpet.

In my observations with the Cimex and SV, it seems that if the carpet is newer-even if in bad shape - the system will snap it back great. If the carpet is older and well taken care of it will also snap back but not as greatly--even though it is better then HWE would of been. Guess the wear of carpet can never be removed is the answer.

Another observation is that I have seen is that carpets do not all snap back the same degree. Some seem to snap back better then others, and I still have not cleaned enough to tell which ones snap back great and which will only snap back good. What are your thoughts?

I, too, continue to be amazed and grateful at the quality this system produces, with such little effort. And the speed is a big plus, too.

I am very excited.

Thanks for the post Tony! Hey take some more pics. I'm getting a new digital soon and will hopefully take more pics of encap jobs.

Went back today and the carpets looked great! One little spot sort of came back--just a haze. I touched it up with some spotter and it came out no prob. The carpets were bright and sharp. Its a keeper!!!!!
