New pads

I tried the new pads yesterday. They worked well though they seemed slightly less aggressive than the old hair pads, perhaps I just need more experience with them. I cleaned again(encapsulation)a utility company office, clay tracked in, leaves a red traffic on a bluish gray gluedown. I have tried pads and hot water over the years.....encaps wins again...

Yes the FiberPlus pads are slightly less aggressive than the old hair-blend pads were. They don't have the hog-hair content which is aggressive. The FiberPlus pads have an elastomeric/rubberized property that increases friction somewhat and increases the wear. These new pads are pretty close to hog-hair in aggressiveness, but it was actually the hair that was breaking down in the water. So the big difference is in the wear of the FiberPlus pads. As Steve posted below the new pads "last and last".
