Thanks Rick - please be patient - the machines are coming!

Peter Holt

My name is Peter Holt, Managing Director of Truvox International Limited, based in Southampton in the UK.

We are working flat out to bring all the production of the Cimex line from their old factory (only 20 miles away) into our own facility.

There is a lot to do, but some really excellent ex-Cimex people who have joined the Truvox Team are helping us.

We hope to begin production next month and be assured that we regard the US as a key market for us.

Rick is on the case (and mine too!) and we are talking frequently.

Please stay patient; if he doesn’t have the equipment ready-to-go, it won’t be long before he does.

I have really enjoyed reading this bulletin board and it is good to know that we have such loyal fans across the pond.

Best wishes

Peter

Peter it's been nice speaking with you on the telephone and via e-mail. I'm happy to see that Truvox has entered the picture because it can only make a great machine even better. I'm looking forward to working with you and your company. As you know the Cimex is a terrific machine, and as we discussed the other day "encapsulation" is still in its infancy. As encapsulation grows the Cimex machine will naturally grow with it because there simply isn't a better scrubbing vehicle available. I'm excited about what your company brings to the table. Thanks for visiting our Cimex Forum, please come back and post often.

Hi Rick Just a couple thoughts that I would like to see changed on the New Cimex, maybe you could pass this on to the folks at Truvox.
1. A power cord that does not stick to everything in sight, something more user friendly.

2. A change in how the wheels are attached so that power cord can not get in between the wheel and the frame, and ultimately wrapped around the wheel.

Ditto what Don said plus I might add the following.

Keep the shampoo tank but add a sprayer attached to the front of the machine. That way you can either shampoo a bad carpet or just use the sprayer in front if the carpets aren't too bad. This may also allow you to spray up the edges for hand cleaning any needed edges. While I am dreaming, make the sprayer a second small tank that can keep ARA in it or concentrated SV for recurrent spot prevention.

Yes! And I'd like them to add a little rocket booster pack for when I get tired.

Tony, actually Cimex in England had a sprayer attachment for the CR48 but it wasn't imported into the US. It's a good suggestion for Truvox to look into. I'd like to see the sprayer as a standard option too.

Don, if you toss the cord over your shoulder or even over the handle of the machine it won't get caught too much. The next time you're down in Florida I'll show you a trick I use to control the cord.

While we're modifying, why not build it so the brushes can reach out a littler further to clean closer to walls.?

The Truvox machine I saw did get much closer to the baseboards.
Rick my major concern with power cord was that it is hard to drag behind you as it gets caught up on everything in sight.
I do the over the handle thing with the cord but when you make that sharp turn around thing the cord still can get between the wheel and the frame if you are not fast enough to catch it.
