Working with the cord

April 15 2003 at 1:31 PM

Cord trick #1: First of all, make sure that you always work away from your cord. If you plug on the north wall, then work from north to south, turning away from the cord each time you turn the machine.

Cord trick #2: Lay the cord over the top of the handle. Let the cord trail between your legs as you walk the machine forward. When you turn right or left (regardless of how sharp the turn is), gently kick the corresponding leg backward and draw the cord out the way. It's easy to do and the cord will not get caught in the wheels.

That is what we try to do, would just like a more friendly user power cord that does not stick to everything it touches.

I have always said that if the people that made some of this crap, had to work with it for just one day they would take it off the market.
