Built a Ramp in 15 Minutes--Cost $18

I didn't feel like trashing my back getting a Cimex in and out of my van, so i took Rick's idea and made a ramp. The only thing I did different is I bought premade 45 degree angle brackets from home depot. They worked fine. Home Depot cut the wood to size so all I had to so was bolt the two pieces together. I will get a picture of it next week.

Thanks Rick for the idea.

Nice job with the ramp!
I like the simple wood ramps too…

Wood Ramp

In one of our vans we also have a really nice aluminum bi-fold ramp from Link Manufacturing. The wood ramp works great and is a whole lot cheaper than alluminum - but bith styles are good. BTW the alluminum ramps are very slippery if they're even a little bit wet.

Thanks for sharing your ramp with us. Show pictures if you can.
