Won't these pads ever wear out???

I've done 5-6 Cimex encap jobs with the new Fiber Plus pads and they are still in pretty good shape maybe half an inch thick. Will new ones clean better? I think I can afford a new set, LOL.

I think they clean better when they in the shape you discribed in your post. I use them until the pins on the drive blocks are just about to break through the pads. I do take them off once in awhile and wash them as they do hold a lot of sand and grit.

Hmmm, Don.

Guess I'll have to do some experimenting. The old ones may have a few more jobs left in them. Very economical pads!!!

Glad to hear that you like them! I've been seeing the same kind of results you're seeing. After several jobs I'll pull them off to inspect them, expecting they'll need replacing. Still good! So I'll slap them back on and scrub another job or two with them. They do last a LONG time. I'm glad I kept searching for a better pad. And as they get older, they don't seem to scrub any worse. So I'd recommend to keep using them as long as you can. I use mine like Don described - until they're toast.

Yea the Cimex demo George and I and my man Scot did totally impressed me, he had something like 10,000 sq on the pads we used and they were still rockin'
