Rick or anyone,
Do I need a spare belt or any other parts on hand for my new Cimex machine.
Thanks, John

I don't think you need too much in the way of spare parts. I stock the most common stuff here - and can get it to you in a rush order if there's ever a need. But the belts and the machine as a whole seem to be pretty solid. Of course you could always just order another machine to have as a backup just to be on the safe side.

My brother bought a used Cimex and needs the big white piece of plastic(19" circle with holes in it) that goes on the bottom of the head. Can you get one of those?

Tom,

The plate is in stock at the importer and we can get it out to Donny ASAP. The cost for the plate, the 3 rubber seals, and S&H comes to $126.06

I e-mailed this info to Donny.
Thanks

Thanks Rick,
Apparently Donny had already contacted you about this. I was not aware of that. Sorry I stuck my nose where it did'nt belong.

No problem - you didn't "stick your nose". Actualy your post today reminded me to give Cimex-USA another call to inquire about this again, because they never got back with me when I called them about it last week. Today I got the answer. So thanks for the reminder.

Backup !

July 31 2003, 9:03 AM

Rick,
You say that kidding, but let me tell you in the olden days w/ TM machines, we did have to have backup's because they were always breaking down. Today with modern tech being better we have just two TM machines. That is the least you can have in case of breakdown weather it be van or carpet machine or God forbid a traffic accident. "The show has to go on". By the way I just got off the phone, and that big County Presentation tomorrow @ noon! wish us luck !!

John,

The 15" CR38SP model that you asked about is going into a production run in England on August 11th. It will take about one month from then for it to cross the Atlantic, clear customs etc, and be ready to ship out to customers in the US. So somewhere in mid-September we should be able to expect to have a CR38SP available for you. Let me know.
