Here's one.
Given a solution tank and stiff nylon brushes, will a Cimex scarifier safely clean carpet as well as the Rotary?
The rotary weights in at about 106 lbs and the scarifier at about 207. It would seem the additional 101 pounds might crush the nylon brushes or damage carpet fabric because of the additional weight.

I thought of posting this issue after posting the previous question on rotary as scarifier.

I guess I'm looking for the multi-purpose Cimex machine.

I’ve had outstanding results with every thing you asked about.
Concrete-Dose an out standing job polishing it.
Marble & Terrazzo-Five to six times faster than traditional methods.
Scrubbing grouted floors-Works great, especially @ $1.40 - 3.50 a foot.
Carpet cleaning-Way fast way of doing things, haven’t seen any problems with it.

Wait a minute - clarification:
My brother Dave owns the marble polishing Cyclone-DF (Diamond Finisher) machine, not the Cyclone-SP (Scrubber Polisher) that we're all using. His Cimex is essentially the same weight as the scarifying machine and spins at 800 rpm. He uses it to hone marble & terrazzo, polish concrete, and he scrubs carpet with it too. Dave tells me that his DF machine has worked just fine for cleaning carpet.
