Rick Gelinas

I spoke with Bob Wittkamp this afternoon and he told me that he dropped by and spent an hour or so with you on your job today. Soundes like fun. He said that it was going well while he was there. Hope it was a winner for you!

Yeah Bob stop by we had a few laughs, It was fun watching bob try to run the Cimex down the halls, Thank god it had all weekend to Dry (just kidding) they did use a little to much, I always have fun working with other cleaners in the area. It's a chance to put heads togther and come up with other Ideas, And Bob has been a mentor of mine for years now, I hope I can attend winterfest this year If any one know's the dates and location it would be nice to go ahead and put in my Day Planner,

Question Rick

August 25 2003, 8:03 PM

I am Bidding a Commercial Bldg. Part of the Bldg has indoor outdoor carpet, The other is some type of commercial carpet that has a pad under it Very short nap, Do you think I am going to need the brushes for this job, or would the pads be ok, this is not a looped carpet by any means, It looks like an indoor Putting Green (LOL)
Thanks for any Help
Jim

Jim,

I'd try the pads first. The course fiber of the indoor/outdoor carpet may tear up the pads and you may find that brushes will be a better choice. But then again the pads may work. I've never cleaned indoor/outdoor carpet so I don't have an answer for you. Is it possible to test the pads on the carpet first and then get what you need to do the job?

Pads should work fine on indoor outdoor carpets, suggest you use older pads and not new ones.
