Tim, stick with the shampoo brushes for the 15" machine. The FiberPlus pads create more surface contact which enable them to scrub the carpet more efficiently. In turn the pads also create more of a load on the motor. The smaller 15" model doesn't have enough torque to spin the pads on the carpet. We found this out recently when a customer ordered pad drivers for his 15" Cimex. The 19" machine with the 1-1/2 horse motor is powerful enough to handle spinning the pads, but stick with the brushes on the 15" model. The 15" machine will work fine as a shampoo/scrubber using brushes.

I was basing what I mentioned in the above post on feedback that I had gotten from John Luce. John was having a problem running pads on his 15" machine. It turns out that John's machine wasn't floating properly at the pivot point. Once that was corrected the machine ran pads just fine. So, YES we can run pads on your 15" Cimex machine.
