Dupont gets out of nylon business

Saw this in to day's financial news. Dupont sells its fibre's division to Koch Industries for 4.4 billion dollars.
Koch is in Wichita Kan. and are producers of polyester fibre.
Will be very interesting to see how this impacts the industry, and of course of interest to our side of the business will be the Dupont cleaning division.

How about that! Koch (pronounced coke) does it again. You see I worked for them a few years back. I was plant operator then manager(nothing really changed) for a emulsified asphalt plant in Knoxville, TN.
At that time they claimed to be the 2nd largest private compy. in nation. I'm glad thats over with!
They are into everything but mostly oil and gas.
Give them 3 yrs and if they can't make their % of profit, they will sell.
Recently, they had the FBI watching them for supposedly stealing oil from the indians out west.
