The artwork is done, the silkscreen is ready, and the first small batch (115 gallons) is in production right now. It will be completed next week - most likely toward the end of the week.
I got the final word this morning on the product cost; it will be $120 per case of 4 gallons (including shipping). Airborne has just increased their rates 4.7% begining January 1st. So including free shipping in the purchase price will be costing us more now. I want to keep doing the shipping this way so that I can try to keep the costs manageable on the products.
Here's how the two products compare:
Regular Strength - $80 per cs. (mixes at 8 oz per gal)
Double Strength - $120 per cs. (mixes at 4 oz per gal)
Regular Strength's cost to clean 1,050 sq ft* = $4.37
Double Strength's cost to clean 1,050 sq ft* = $3.29
*Figuring a usage rate of 300 sq ft per gallon of diluted prodct.
So the Double Strength product will be a nice money saver. Plus it will produce half as much landfill waste too.
