| Rick I know you have not taken a stand on Homes, But I am getting more request for Encap in the homes of the people that work in the Comm Bldg's, Do I need the Brushes on the Cimex or will the Pads be ok for this,
I still have not gotten enough courage to try this yet but I am going to have to make a move, The people that are asking are my contacts for these accounts, So far I have talked my way out of this but its catching me, I know you have posted Pics before on Residential but was that with Brush's or Pads for that result,
Like it or not Here come the homes for me using this method I just have to get the best result..

I guess I'm only comfortable recommending what I'm familliar with and commercial has been my mainstay for these past 20 years. Jim I know two things about you. 1) You have extensive knowledge about carpet care. 2) You care about the work you do. With that criteria I'd think it would be a safe venture for you to go for. If you decide to do it you'll want to use the soft brushes for cut pile carpets like Saxony and use the pads on Berber. Yes it will work - the old master Gary Heacock has given us proof enough of that. Keep us posted.

Hi Jim, how are you doing?
I worked for very short time with the "Deluxe carpet cleaning" I believe that the crystalizing shampoos of today is way more superior of what Deluxe was using, maybe they still using the same today, I don't know. Well, they use a 17' brush scrubber, and it was working very well, more flexible than the big Cimex around furniture. CIMEX for commercial is just right to use the pads, but CIMEX for residential it's to heavy, even with the rushes, I did a house for test for Free with the CIMEX and brushes, it was like I was riding an elephant. But the carpet looks good and people was happy, (well it was Free anyway, LOL) If I start doing residential with the encapsulation, I can beat any steam cleaner with the price, even myself, LOL! |

There a couple of guys using the 15" Cimex for residential cleaning and they love it.

I use a Chemstractor with the standard brushes it came with- 17 inch- for residential. So far, no problems. Works fine. I do dilute the Releasit half- that's 4 ounces per gallon for these average soiled residential carpets- of all kinds- plus several loose rugs brought in to my plant.
Nylon of several types and colors, wool and olefin berbers, an acrylic berber, a couple polyester carpets, etc. Go for it.
I put it to these customers that it was a sort of trial, and if they were not 100% satisfied, I would come back and clean it with my tm. So far, it has been 100% satisfied.

i am no Cimex or encapsulation pro yet. i have had my Cimex and Releasit for three weeks. It has made a hugh difference in my commercial accts.
i like to experiment so i did three apts in the past week.
and my carpets as well, all with the cimex and Releasit.
one was berber, two cut pile. all with pads.
awesome results. i dont have brushes to continue the experiment, just the pads that came in the initial shipment. It was amazing each and every time.
spots are gone.
i dont know why it wouldnt be used in the residential arena. i sure add it to my arsenal... if it works. use it. it passed my tests. my tests probably arent as good as Garys though. LOL he is a master. just my 2/

Thanks for the Replies All, I'm just getting such a great responce with the Encap my contacts and people working there are wanting there house cleaned the same way, Its a hard sell when you push for the Encap and then say NO I will use the Truck Mount on your house,
Thanks for the Nice words Rick, in your earlier post, I guess like it or not I'm gonna try this and move foward, and I'll be in touch this week for the brush's for the cimex, The only thing I can do is play around on my own capet to see what happens, I can only expect great results from what I have seen in commercial cleaning.
(Off Record LOL) Can you believe J ladwig and me are still going at it over encap on the ICS how negative can someone be, If this guy would even try to understand, At least try it then make a educated decsion... I guess its not worth it ..

Jim,
Just to let you know a secret-- but Jimmy Ladwig is a regular user of encap products. He just likes giving guys a hard time and down grading the stuff so no one will try it and he can have his own monopoly in his area..... he has to keep his online persona up to sniff after all.
LOL
