No

To buff a floor well you'll need a UHS ... ultra-high-speed burnisher. At the very least you really need to have a 1500 rpm (or faster) electric buffer to buff/burnish floors efficiently. If you decide to go with a slower model like a 1500 rpm electric buffer you'll also need to use a good Spray Buff to pop a decent shine.

You can pick up a good deal on UHS buffers at www.dndspecialties.com - Dave there is a great guy!

But if you want to...

Strip tile.
Scrub tile.
Scrub textured floors i.e. rubber.
Scrub ceramic tile.
Scrub grout.
Clean concrete.
Light polishing marble/terrazzo.
etc. etc. etc.

...Then the Cimex Cyclone is a wonderful tool!

And if you want to do more intensive floor work, there are additional models available for Marble Grinding/Honing as well as a machine for Concrete-Scarifying.
