Can you get water too hot

Is it possible to get water too hot to encap? I am using a rotory w/ shower feed. I am using my 2000 watt heater off my Recoil (in a 5 gal bucket) to heat water. Do I need to be careful not to get it too hot. Thanks in advance for any input.
Thank you,
Micah

Yes. I am not sure what temperature you are talking about, but I would be careful not to heat it above 130 to 140 range. Too hot will effect the detergent.

I use room temp with my encapsulation, I guess warm will be better, but very hot maybe is not needed, Rick the Encap-man knows more of that.

Anything up to simmering (which will occur with 1 bucket heater) is absolutely fine. If the water reaches a boil (which it will with 2 bucket heaters) it may begin to adversely affect the chemicals performance. Releasit works well with all temps - tepid, warm, hot, or simmering water. There is a small benefit to using hotter water - slightly more foam and slightly better detergency. But actually the variable with warmer temps is very small so don't knock yourself out trying to get hot water; if you have it great - if not, don't sweat it.
