encap for rental turnovers

anyone using their cimex/releasit for rental turnovers? If so, how efficient is it compared to HWE? My thinking is that it could be a very effective way to knock out rentals without wearing out your TM.

I'd say you are right on the money, Todd.

Many rental homes have the water and/or electric turned off, which can make it a royal hassle to clean via HWE. With the Cymex, very little water (comparitively) is needed. Also, if you go after this market, I recommend getting an AC generator to power the vacuum cleaner, bucket heater, Cimex, light bulbs, etc. I use a GenerAc 6500 watt unit.

I have used my cimex on 3 empties, prefer the Host in two story situations (the cimex is too heavy to hold on stairs) LOL

Would prespraying help?

February 14 2004, 7:27 PM

Rick, I've seen the picture where you presprayed an 24 hr. copy place then ran the cimex over it.... would prespaying rentals rather than going stronger with
releasit be more effective? If so, how long do you wait till after spraying that you run the cimex? -
Thanks for all the help Rick... the encap geru!

Pre-spraying would be a better option than mixing the detergent stronger. A couple of extra minutes of dwell time on a nasty carpet can work wonders.
