Prespraying with Releasit

I've seen a couple of posts where presparying is mentioned. Is this done with a 50/50 mix or is the area presprayed with 100% Releasit? Also, what is an adequate dwell time when this is done... 10, 15, 20 minutes?

when I presprayed with it I just mixed it up regualar strenth per directions for cleaning, 8oz per gal and put it down on the spots couple min before I went over them, I did work it in with a grandy groomer (rake) a little and it worked fine for me on the carpet I was doing.

All carpets are not the same and you may have to tweek it alittle but I like to start off (reg strenth) and work it up if I need to, this way I dont any more than I have to.

Me too- regular strength when using as a pre-spray.

When you want to use Releasit as a pre-spray simply follow the mixing directions on the label.

If you're using the regular strength Releasit (blue label) mix 12 ounces per gallon for pre-spraying.

If you're using the double-strength concentrated Releasit (red label) mix 6 ounces per gallon for pre-spraying.

i mix it @ 8oz to gallon, then i just spray bad areas and mist over the rest. say i had 600 sq ft to clean i would mix one gallon in a pump-up, and the other in the cimex tank.
Works great for me.
