Warning: Encap Does Not Work In Oregon-- Stay Away From IT

February 18 2004 at 11:36 PM

Don't be succorred into the delusion that encapping works everywhere. In Oregon the peculiar climate conditions and soil content render encapping totally ineffective. Don't even try it. Stay away from it. Avoid it at all costs. Alabama or Rhode Island are fine, go there. Just stay away from Oregon.

Repeat after me...
I will not encap in Oregon
I will not encap in Oregon
I will not encap in Oregon

Your right JW! The atmospheric conditions render encap useless in Oregon. Since we have already done the testing, there is no need for other cleaners in Oregon to waste their time and money on this process.

West Coast encapping

Was your sample testing in Oregon done during all four seasons? With things drying out over here in late spring, summer and fall, I'm wondering if the change in atmospheric variables might still make it encap-friendly here during warmer weather, or did you find that soil conditions alone made the process difficult?

What about Washington?

February 19 2004, 10:38 PM

With Northern Calif and Oregon now being on the list of 'Thou shalt nots', I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience of trying to encap in soggy Washington.
