These New Pads

Do these new pads have a side that needs to go to the carpet? I was looking at and feeling them today, and can't really see a big difference like the older pads.

Thanks

Hi Ades,

They are different than the old pads and don't require the same care in applying them to the machine. According to the manufacturer, they're built with 20% more fiber than the competitor's pads. Fiber is more costly than filler/binder material. Hence they're a better built pad, and as a result their wear is more consistent. Enjoy!

Ref,
I know you had a BIG weekend. How much $$$ did you generate with your Cimex this weekend?

P.S. You guys be sure to run the pads down as far as you can. They can be run till their about as thick as a piece of corrugated cardboard before they ought to be replaced.

Fiberplus pads can go as thin as cardboard ?? Yikes, is that the same for the rotary 17" pads ? Man, I have been tossing them waaaaay thicker than that. Glad I saw this post...

Thanks Rick.

I did a $250 job friday, and a $1350 job saturday. the saturday job paid with a credit card and the friday job always pays in less than a week. I was at the local airport tonight and one day last week for $900.

I have done well over the $2500 investment since the machine hit the dock. If you think it's a lot of money to spend at one time and are not sure of the return, trust me, you will make it back and then some.

Our local airport has made the other cleaner they contract with stop using his bonnet method. I have made a few passes over his work and the difference is shocking.

They Rock

March 17 2004, 2:30 PM

I used my cimex today on some Berber (olifen) man they work great. I can let go of the handle now and the cimex stays put. Before it would take off. It's a whole lot easier to use.

These new pads Rock, Rick

Thanks for searching for a better maker
