What concentrations of Releasit do all you cleaners use on different spots and different carpets? Do you go beyond the label recommendations? If so, when and why do you do that? What works for you?

50/50 ratio.

But I only use it as a spotter on those carpets that I am actually encapping.

Pretty much the same here- a 50-50 mix in a quart bottle with a trigger sprayer.

I have also used this spotter when doing HWE with my truck mount. Works fine, and not very much foam when rinsing it out- along with the spot.

With the double strength Releasit, I put in 4 ounces, and fill with water. That works just fine.

Thanks for the replies, guys. Could we get some more? However, I'm a bit confused. 50/50 - is that
double-strenth 50/50? and 4 ounces in 32 ounces is double strength? I'm missing something.
Yesterday, I had wheel-chair tracks that I couldn't get out. Tried different combos, got most of it, but still I felt I should have got it all. Yeah, they were real bad tracks but I don't like to think it can't be done. I'm going back.

The 50/50 mixture of Releasit relates to our original regular strength product.

The equivalent mixture of Releasit with the double strength concentrate is 8 ounce per 32 ounce spray bottle.

This dilution is good for correcting recurring spills. It can also be used as a general spotter at that rate. Gary Heacock has even used it successfully for filtration lines.

Actually I have 2 bottles mixed up for spotting. One is a 1/4 mix, 1 is a 1/2 mix. With the double strength, that's 4 ounces to a quart, the other is 8 ounces to a quart. some spots need more detergent in my opinion, more than more of the encapsulating parts.

For instance, today, a plush nylon residential. Around the fireplace were maybe 8 or 10 deposits of soot dropped when she was cleaning out the fireplace and along the carpet edge of the tile surround were 2 or 3 several inch long smears of soot. That was from wiping up the spilled soot from the tile, and got rubbed into the carpet.

These all got the strong mix. In other places spots and a drink spill or 2 got the weaker mix.
