Solution flow

April 10 2004 at 4:00 PM

Rick Gelinas

I received a question via e-mail about how to control the rate of solution flow on the Cimex. So I thought I'd share my reply here for all to consider.

Solution flow works like this...

1) Light soil: Make a single slow pass, tapping the trigger as you walk. Feather the detergent.

2) Average soil: Make a moderately paced wet pass holding the valve open, then make a return dry pass.

3) Heavy Soil: Same as "average soil" - with the exception that you will make additional dry passes.

In the case of very heavy soil it is also helpful to pre-spray before running the Cimex with the Releasit mixed according to the directions for pre-spray on the jug.

You only want to see a light whitening of the surface. Using more detergent than that is not desirable.
