No pads for the 15" Cimex machine. Sorry.

You could take the standard pads for the 19" machine and trim them down. Sorry I don't have a better option for you than that.

I've got the 15" cimex. I think you'll need to talk with Rick or someone that has both for a true comparison.
It has worked out well for us, around desk, small offices, work stations etc. Plus it has a handle on it. This makes it easier to carry up and down stairs.
Remember I said easier - not easy! This thing still weighs alot without a tank full of water but its gotta be less than the 19".

Oh,I use brushes on it not pads. One day I hope to move up in the cimex world and get me one that is all grown up! A big daddy cimex! Hey, anybody like to trade?

Tim:
I am curious as to what kind of results you are getting with the brushes? Also what product are you using and does it foam more with the brushes? Thanks in advance for your answers.

My experience with a Chemstractor is the Fiber Plus pads create more foam than the brushes do. I used the standard brush several months before getting the pads. A noticable difference right from the start.

More foam means more air worked into the amount of chemical and makes what is applied drier- which means the carpet dries quicker. I don't think the carpet is any cleaner- that's pretty much the same, and since the foam travels further, that means less Ready-to-Use per sq ft, and so, instead of getting 200 sq ft per gallon of Ready-to-Use, now it is 300 to as much as 500 sq ft per gallon of Ready-to-Use.

15 inch cimex

April 13 2004, 2:11 AM

My father purchased a 15 inch cimex and uses it mostly for residential. He has also used my 19 and 24 inch and he feels that because the 15 inch runs at 650rpm instead of 400 it is in fact faster then a 19 inch. He can push it around faster.

just my 2 cents.
