| Yesterday I did a regular customer I do every 6 months. Not as much soiling as pet deposits from little Muffie-Poo. Previously done in November last year. One of my first Encapping customers, I told her it was a new thing, and I would come back and re-do it if she was not perfectly happy, with the truck mount- as usual.
OK- this time the carpet was not as soiled as usual- the evidence was in the dining room, traffic path from the kitchen, and not as soiled in front of the sofa in the family room. Still some 25 or 30 pet urine deposits though, Releasit won't cover THAT!!
Anyway, behind the door of the family room, here is a part of a swirl where the carpet had not been vacuumed there. Swirl marks from the rest had vanished- as I was sure they would with a little use. Anyway, I wondered as I was vacuuming before I hit this area under and behind the door, whether the carpet would be stiff, or sticky, or have any different feel to it, compared to the rest of the carpet.
I lightly brushed this area with my hand, and it vanished, stood up like the rest of the carpet. I then separated out one tuft, to check for stickyness or stiffness. Nope.
So... draw whatever conclusions you want from that.
I did ask her before I started if she wanted me to do the same procedure again. She sez yes. So.. she is the first repeat residential customer done with Releasit.
Hey!! it works!!
Each pet urine deposit got a dose of the 50-50 mix from a trigger spray bottle after vacuuming, then run over with the normal mix.
All disappeared.

I had a similiar situation with a tourist attraction where the carpets are cleaned yearly. In past years they had a guy cklean with HOST and then I cleaned them with my TM and last year padded. This year I used Releasit with my Conqueror. It had to be done over a three day stretch of time. When I returned on the second day I noticed that the carpet kind of crunched when you walked on it. It is not a low level carpet nor a plush-something in between. It was not an issue with the the customer and some spots that had not been removed during prior cleanings including a nasty adhesive that had been applied under a track off mat. I continue to be sooo pleased with encap.
BTW. This board is a pleasure to visit. Clean language and intelligent comments. Thanks.
