A couple of things I did to get new customers. I send a letter to all existing customers telling them I was giving away a trip for 2 to mexico or hawaii, their choice. I have entered their name in my contest, for every refered customer that I did a job for, I would enter their name again. In 2 years I had 50 new customers and spent $3000 to get them. 45 of them have been a more then once repeat customers over a 5 period.

When I clean someone's house they often say," I wish I had some one to clean my windows" or something like that. If I can't do what they need, I have a name of someone in my wallet that does, whether it is a contractor, spa dealer, roofer, marble polisher, realtor,etc. I give these people my card to hand out, they sometimes get the customers carpet dirty when working in the house. If I have to clean this persons carpet for free to get them to believe in what I do enough to recommend me, I do it. Ways to keep the other guy away from my customer.

When ever I go into a place of business, I look to see what they are doing to attract customers.
I gave away free bottles of spot cleaning chemicals with my name on them at one time. I am thinking about doing this again, but now will mix up releasit in the bottles. Will be a lot easier to use product for the customer.
