Winterizing is not necessary.

hiyas Rick

hummmmm well maybe that was the wrong word.?.

Releasit will freeze i would guess?? so if it was in the lines and froze, the lines would burst?

is Releasit freeze / thaw stable?

thanx Bro --- Derek.

The little bit of Releasit that might still be in the solution line is not going to present a problem. Why? Because the line is not sealed. The solution in the hose above or below the valve will expand in either direction away from the valve. Not a problem.

And yes, Releasit is freeze/thaw stable. We've tested Releasit through two full freeze/thaw cycles and found that it didn't adversely affect the product.

Or you could just move down here to Florida and forget all about that silly cold weather stuff.

Extreme cold is always a risk even when preventive steps have been taken. My recommendation would be to prevent the freezing in the first place perhaps by a small heater or moving in to a warmer spot or a small amount of washer fluid or you can try just draining it and see what happens but in my experience sub zero temps will find a way....

freeze / thaw stable? no more bringin chem's in the house at end of day? and no more storing my machine in my bro in-laws basement, or running antifreeze through it? THE NERVE!

thanx for the info Rick --- Derek.

EDIT* opps. just read your post Jim

Machine should be empty, and I would suggest that leaving chemicals in the truck is not a good idea. The occassional freezing may not effect them, but several would have an effect on them. Plus it is real hard to pour a few ounces from a froozen bottle the next morning when you go to a job.
