i dont want to push anyone into a Cimex, but i honestly can tell you that i am utterly thrilled with the results...the results are WAY above and beyond anything i had previously experienced with my other CC'ing tools. the last "tool" that went above and beyond my expectations was my Cross American PowerBooster. the surprise i got outta using my Cimex was triple that of using the PowerBooster in terms of advertised results AND end user results. i was under the impression that Encap was more toward Maintenance cleaning and not Restorative cleaning, i found this to be clearly untrue.

i can honestly tell you that my objective now is to be in a position where i can sell off both my HWE units and be done with it and all the stuff that goes with it, ie: bottles upon bottles upon bottles of cleaning agents, hoses, wands, storage bins, etc...

i cant speak for Encap'ing with other machines....i am sure they do well. i just cant imagine anything being faster or doing a BETTER job than a Cimex....almost too good to be true, im dumbfounded.

good fortune in your decision, either way, Encap is KING in my mind.

honestly hoping that no-one in my area EVER hears of Encapsulation and Cimex --- Derek.

Wow, very impressive review. Thanks !!

I gather from your post that prior to your using the cimex,
that you never encapped with a rotary or OP? Never encapped at all
previously ?

I'm certain a cimex will be well worth the money. It's spins faster
400 rpm compared to my 175. It also counter-rotates. So I'm thinking it will be much faster than my rotary as far as ft² per hour.

By the way, as a totally new user,
how much ft² were you able to clean per hour?

Thanks for the update. Much appreciated. I guess I need to quit being so darn cheap and send Rick a check

Take care & good fortune bro !!
KC

Hey Derek-

May 9 2004, 11:57 PM

Don't throw your HWE machine away just yet. There are jobs where there are stairs, severe trash, and other cases where the HWE machine will still be best.

In my situation, I am using my tm about 1/3 of the time, encapping 1/3 and bonneting 1/3 of the time- that's on commercial as well as residential.

Ken,

no i have never Encap'ed before.

i take that back, i did once with my Host, the results were less than i expected, but now i understand why....compared with the aggressiveness of the Cimex, there is no comparison.

my 1st time yesterday, i cleaned almost 2500 sq. ft. and the machine time was about 2.5 hours (that doesnt include the extra thorough pre-vac i did, and some minor furniture moving).

it would've gone faster if i was used to the system, at first i kept going over areas 2-3 times casue i just couldnt believe it was this simple, i thought i must be missing something. i was way over-thinking it lol. any other questions, feel free to ask bud

Derek if you don't want competition in your area than your post should read. Don't invest in encap cleaning because it don't work.

Hey

May 10 2004, 6:53 PM

I use my Cimex every chance I can because I like to lift it in and out of the truck, and because it doesn't work. So, let this be a warning to everyone else.

WOW B-Newman, I didn't know that, I'm gonna stop the order of my Cimex then, and stick with my old porty.
I'm glad you love it Derek, its a super machine.

Hey

You can buy one as long as you don't live in my town, because Rick is a good guy and needs the money.

A man in a restaurant calls the waiter over. "Waiter, there's a fly in my soup>"
The waiter replies "Sir, I'll have you ask you to keep your voice down. We don't want everyone to want one."
Shhhhhh-
