Sorry need to get one more point explained. The pad driver I have as only one row of holes on the outside circumference of the circle.

Will these be enough for the shower feed effect or should I drill more holes, maybe as many as a carpet shower feed brush has.

Those holes are there to let solution penetrate through it - so yes, the driver should work as it is. But some of the solution may fly off the top. So more holes closer to the center wouldn't be a bad idea either.
