What else can we do with Releasit?

I just took a stack of very old underclothes that are no longer white, they are gray with yellow pit stains and washed them with Releasit.

I was hoping for a miracle, but they just came out a couple of shades whiter, not perfect. Of course, this is not what it was designed for and it was cotton on top of it all, but I just had to try it.

So my next thought is, what about using it as a prespotter you put on your laundry spots when you put the clothes in the laundry basket and let it do it's job for days before the clothes get washed?

Then I wonder what else could we clean with it? Sometimes innovation comes from trying products ad-hoc.

tooth whitening

i might try it on my yellow teeth. mix some up strong, 60-40, and apply it directly to the teeth with a Q-tip. then goto sleep and let the Releasit do its works, encapsulating all the stains as it crystalizes. should do the trick, no need to spend hundreds letting the dentist do the same thing.

also thinking of using it as a mouth-wash first thing in the morning to get rid of that bad breath....would use it at full strength of course. hey just make sure ya dont swallow the stuff!

thanx --- Derek.

11. Furniture cleaning detergent

12. Loose rug detergent.

And speaking of loose rug detergent, I have on hand 2 wool hand hooked rugs. These were REALLY filthy. Plus fulla pet urine. I gave them the usual Bac-Out treatment for the urine, then washed them (3 times, they were SO bad!)

I took them down yesterday, dry, laid them out on the floor to check them. Pretty clean. Looked a lot better than when I got them in- they were so bad, I could hardly see the pattern under the dirt. Still a tad dingy, though. I wondered if a Releasit treatment might help brighten them. I sprayed on some, and on a cotton DirtGetter bonnet, and buzzed over them. Yep. Much improved. Bright now.

Not much dirt appearing on the DirtGetter bonnet, but a little, which did make a difference in the rug's appearance.

I have cleaned several loose rugs in the plant with Releasit, and when they were not so filthy, it worked just fine. A lot quicker than washing them.
