I just grab that handle and pull. Stand one step away so you can pull it up as straight as possible (that is, one step away from where your Cimex is going). It helps a bit to have the handle in the upright position. But it's no fun.
I figured that bigger wheels would help, so I took a wheel off and went looking. No luck - the axle is quite thick.
If anyone does find bigger wheels, please put it on this bulletin board.
Thanks
p.s. If you wonder if bigger wheels would help, all you have to do is imagine really big wheels, how they would fit in the stair and how it changes the direction of the pull necessary.

I think that i have this downpat as i go up and down stairs all the time.
but i am a very strong guy so maybe that helps.
i back up to the stairwell, i am about two steps up.
i back the wheels of the cimex up, empty as to not splash, very important here. LOL
then you have to lean back.. trust me, you wont fall back with the cimex on the other end.
give it a pull up carefully, then take a step up, get a good grip and again, pull it up that stair.
going down, stay leaned back as to not lost it forward and crashing. lol
the object is to counter the weight of the cimex.
you will get the hang of it.
and too, have the handle in the upright position.
nothing else. atleast from my exp.
good luck.
