UPDATE ON OUR PACKAGE SHIPPING:

We have recently made the switch from Airborne/DHL to UPS as our primary small package shipper.

The service that UPS can offer is more consistent than the service DHL was previously providing. Overall, DHL has done a decent job, but there have been a few problems too. So now the standard package delivery will be UPS Ground, as opposed to DHL Ground.

PLEASE NOTE: This may affect the time that it takes for your packages to arrive. UPS Ground seems to run about a day longer than DHL on many locations throughout the country. So plan accordingly when you're ordering product.

We still get the packages out the same day we receive the order in MOST cases. Our UPS driver picks up a little after 4PM EST, so orders placed late in the day may likely fall into the next day.

Standard pricing on all of our items includes free ground shipping. If you need quicker shipping contact me and we can arrange alternative shipping for the rate UPS charges for these faster services.

We've set up our shipping software system to generate an e-mail confirmation with your tracking information. This will arrive in your inbox from "Quantum".

UPS clearly seems to be a better carrier overall. So we're expecting good service. I just wanted to make you all aware of the changes.

The declared shipping rates of all 3 carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL) are within spitting distance of each other.

They all advertise similar rates. However real world pricing fluctuates from their advertised rates. For example DHL shows the lowest rates on their website. However, the rates DHL actually charges are often different

We compared shipping rates very closely with actual shipments we have run. And out of the handful we compared - UPS was less expensive on all but one. Beyond the stated rates though, DHL manages to find a myriad of excess charges that are not revealed up front. So UPS actually wins out over DHL's alleged lower pricing. Can you sense my disappointment with DHL :O)

Plus we found some great third party software that links the UPS shipments right into our existing software. It’s a breeze to work with - we’re loving it. Simple is good.
