Encapping spilled laundry detergent

Hi folks, has anyone had the exerpience of encapping spilled laundry detergent? I'm doing a proposal in a dollar store and was wondering if I could encap the many detergent spills or if it would be better if I used my bonnet cleaning on them.

I am cleaning college dorm rooms right now. Cleaning laundry soap and fabric softner out of the carpet is the only thing Encap hasn't work very well for me, spots have turned white. Right now I pour some liquid defoamer on the spot and rinse it out with a portable. Maybe some one has a better idea
