Encap'ing Apartments

i've used my Cimex on 3 apartments so far on my one-and-only apartment complex account. the results have been great and the management actually prefers the "finished look" of the Cimex over the wand. they love the faster dry times also hehe.

the amount of time it takes is just a little faster....maybe 15 minutes per apartment. the reason is that for rentals, i never used to pre-vac with HWE. now i take the time and do a super thorough job pre-vac'ing.

the result is the apartments are turning out cleaner and i am getting through them a little faster. oh ya, and runnin the Cimex is easier on the body than the wand lol. except when i gotta drag it up the steps to the 2nd floor ARGH!

thanx --- Derek.

I too use it for apts. are you experiencing cut pile in your apts, or berber and low loop commercial which both set up perfect for the cimex and encapping.
I do get good results though on both berbers and cutpile.
i usually use the RX on cut piles though.
but prevac good either way.
There is a nice difference in results HWE when prevacing and not doing so. I am sure by now you have heard of the 'dust and mud' theory. You can't beat prevacing either method.
Good job.

hiyas Steve

yes the apt's are all cut pile. i understand the importance of pre-vac but when i HWE a rental, i never would unless it was loaded with visible debris. they're priced for quick in and out and the management understands and appreciates it. thats just me though i know hehe.

thanx --- Derek.
