rating the machines

I've used three different types of cleaning machines to encapsulate and here's how I rate them.
No. 1 - Cimex. It's the best scrubber, the easiest to use (my back says "yes" to that), and the least likely to harm the carpet.
Disadvantages -(1)it may leave an undesirable pattern on certain carpets, may look splotchy. This can happen even on some commercial carpets. This is no big deal. Groom it out. I use my GLS, if needed. (2) it's heavy - hard to get up steps. (3)it may not get out some junk in some carpets - like animal hair. Solution - more vacuuming.
No. 2 - Rotating brush cylinder type. I have the GLS. The things that make it a good addition for encapsulating cleaning, (1)it's easier to carry up stairs than the Cimex, (2) it will dig some things out of the carpet that the Cimex won't, as is necessary sometimes in residential cleaning, (3) it is adaptable with various sets of brushes, (4) it is a good pile lifter and groomer.
No. 3 - at the bottom of my list is the rotating brush. It will clean some things that HWE won't but not nearly as well as my first two. I don't use it anymore. Want to buy it?
If anyone wants to get into the business - my suggestion - go for the Cimex first. It does more things well than anything we've got out on the market.

I have used the shampoo brushes on residental carpet and then made dry passes with the fiber pads. I seems to do a better job of digging out some or junk and hair that can be in the carpet
