got an account, a "juice bar" that gets alot of dirt tracked in, spills, etc. Encap once a month, looks great when done. would scotchguard after encap help or defeat the effect of encapping? it was requested by customer.

thanks,
Brian

Brian,

I'm not sure that Scotchguard would work as your considering.

Protectors may cause Releasit to not crystallize properly. To use Scotchguard you would need to come back after the carpet has dried and been post-vacuumed, before you would apply the protector. So I've always been reluctant to advise against applying fluoro-chems after Releasit. (It has a killer fluoro-chemical built into it)

But wait...

This question has been asked to me so many times that I went to our chemist and requested whether we could produce the same fluoro-chemical that we are using in Releasit to apply as an after Protector. Voilą! It's been done. SOILEZE will be available on Friday.

Soileze is fully compatible with Releasit. In fact the crystal will release even easier when it's applied following Releasit. So if they're open to using another brand - SOILEZE should do the trick for you.

Cool -

So we can offer to 'Releasit' if it's already stuck to your carpet...

or 'Avoid it in the first place' if they don't want it stuck to the carpet...

OK..."Soileze" is a better name!

sounds like the "spray it on and let the foot traffic clean it" idea.
