Rick, will these ever be available for a 17" rotary like the regular fiberplus pads ?

Also, I hev been reading that several guys are recommending that RED pads in conjunction with releasit, on some very dirty comm'l loops...what are your thoughts on using red pads, and how does the coarseness of a red pad compare with the new MAX pads ?

Thanks Rick

KC

A red pad is more aggressive than our gray Max pads. At this point in time I'm not planning to release the Max pads for any other machine sizes. Possibly down the line (maybe). But it's not really a priority right now.

BTW the Max pads are NICE! I'd estimate that they're probably in the range of 20% more efficient at cleaning really challenging commercial carpets.

ok thx for the reply....but again, what are your thoughts on using red pads
on heavily soiled comm'l carpets...?? Too aggressive ? I want the pad to do the work, but don't want to do damage

....but the last 3 days we have been doing our annual school accts....and in many areas, it took twice as long to clean them this year (first year encapping them...bonnet cleaned them the last 2 years) because the fiberplus pads were just not "biting" hard/deep enough...I even pulled out new pads...same thing...this stuff was really soiled....in the end it looked fine...but it just took forever to get to look good...I even presprayed first.....if I can't get it to clean up faster next year...I'm going back to the bonnet & #123, but I'd prefer encap because they absolutely refuse to clean it more than 1x per year

Thx
Ken

I would not recomend a red pad for carpet cleaning. I've heard folks recommend them but I disagree. They're too aggressive IMO.
