About 5 minutes of dwell time will perform well.

1. Apply Encap-Traffic with a pump-up or powered sprayer.
2. Allow about 5 minutes dwell time (agitate extremely soiled areas).
3. Rinse the carpet with Encap-Rinse using hot-water-extraction equipment.
4. Smile with confidence, knowing that your leaving your customer with a carpet that will stay cleaner than traditional HWE.

Wait ! Wait !

August 5 2004, 1:40 PM

maybe I was confused here:

Encap-Traffic™ can be used as a pre-spray for Hot Water Extraction cleaning with Encap-Rinse™. It may also be used with Encap-Clean™ as well as any of your favorite carpet cleaning detergents.

with that I figured it could be used as a traffic lane cleaner while still using Encap-Clean to finish with? Or does it need to be rinced?

You can use Encap-Traffic together with Encap-Clean, Encap-Rinse or your other favorite carpet cleaning detergent. However Encap-Traffic is primarily focused toward working in tandem with Encap-Rinse to provide encap cleaning in a HWE setting. The benefit with that combination is to provide a crystallizing residue that will dry following the cleaning. This will allow additional soil to be removed through post-vacuuming (after all, the color of the water that's in the waste tank is the same color as the water that remains in the carpet). And as we leave behind a crystallizing polymer along with a good fluoro-protector the carpet will not resoil as rapidly. Hope this explains it ok for you. Good questions.
