Hope you're having fun. I had never thought of Haiti as a vacation destination. But I've heard there are some nice places to stay in Cap-Haitien. Let us know about it when you return. Enjoy!

i dont know, but I would guess that he might be down there on a church mission helping out.
I dont quite think that Haiti is a vacation hotspot.
But I have a sister that visited Bosnia during the war years. It didnt bother her. Some people have different timing.

You are right, it is a mission trip. I started coming here with Dad & mom when I was 9. And this time I brought two of my children with me. My brother lived here for seven years. We have a Hospital, school and Church here. see ya later.

Well now that makes more sense than going to Haiti for a vacation. Haiti's not really on the list of hot vacation spots is it? Darwin I hope you have a nice time down there and return safely. Take care.

It may not be Afghanistan or Iraq, but Haiti is still a hostile, or was, nation. It takes a special person to leave the stability and safety of our country to go and help others. It is an honorable thing to do when you take all things into consideration. Success to you and your family and all the kind ambassadors of our country as you strive to reach out and help others and provide a little love and stability in the daily lives of the less fortunate of the world. It is to be commended. You will all be in our prayers for safe travel my friend. Good job.
