Target

Rick Gelinas

We sold a Cimex to a large contractor in South Florida. He has ordered just over 100 gallons of Releasit DS so far too.

Well his company services Target stores. They just picked up a Target store here in St Petersburg. The carpet had some streaking in it from the previous contractor. So he calls me at the end of the day on Friday and asks me if I can take a ride out t one of his Target stores to diagnose what the problem is. I test the fiber - it's olefin. There are streaking marks running down the carpet. It looks pretty bad. I determined that this was caused by poor HWE cleaning.

Remedy: Cimex/Releasit/FP-Max pads. I tell him how to correct the problem with his Cimex. Well on Monday he gives me a call, he's all shook up because he's about to have a VIP visit/inspection the next day. He has no way to get a crew up to this store in time to get the job done. He asks me if I know anybody in the area that can help.

I tell him he's in good shape. I rearranged our schedule and sent two techs into the store to clean with a couple of Cimex's. Long story short; the areas that they cleaned turned out beautiful. The streaks were gone. And the store was ready for the VIP visit. My guys worked their butts off, but they accomplished some great results. It's fun when you see the Cimex & Releasit fixing problems for people. This was a BIG one!

Cimex + Releasit = "Commercial Problem Solver"

ok say cleaning with a Cimex is a 100

what do you consider 300 rpm rotory with white pads? I'm guessing I'm at atleast 80% in production and results?

Got any of the Cimex's close to me I could check out in action?

Brian,

The 3 Cimex cleaning heads spin at 400 rpm as compared to a single disk turning at 300 rpm. That would amount to a 25% increase to start out with. And obviously, there are 3 times as many heads cleaning addressing the carpet with every pass you make. So right off the bat, the simple math indicates that there will be over 3 times the efficiency on every pass running a Cimex, as opposed to a 300 rpm single disk rotary machine. (That jumps to an over 6 times increase when comparing a standard 175 rpm single disk machine.)

Now add the planetary design to that equation. As the 3 heads spin clockwise the drive deck turns counter-clockwise. So the fiber is being addressed from all sides with each cleaning pass. It's scrubbing to the right and to the left as you push it across the carpet or floor.

The sum of all that is why the Cimex performs so well. It ROCKS, there really isn't any machine out there that can match its brute cleaning action. I surely wouldn't have wanted to clean a badly soiled Target store with anything less.

Regarding your question about someone in your area, that may be a possibility - I have a few Cimex customers in Iowa. Also, here's another alternative that has helped some cleaners to feel comfortable with buying a Cimex. - Try it for a week. If you're not completely happy, repackage it in the carton it came in and return it. You're only cost would be the return freight. We'll even cover the freight going out to you. So this gives you a chance to see that the Cimex is what everybody's saying it is. Takes the fear out of it for ya.

P.S. And since you're also a floor guy Brian. Keep in mind that the Cimex is an awesome floor stripping machine. It's kind of like an electric Sidewinder strip machine. It will outstrip a rotary hands down. Plus it's safer to work with too.
