Derek Beyer

well about 15 of those contacts turned out to be maintained by the property owner (lease), so thats really not fair!!

but other than that, i got one 240+ room hotel and all their restaurants / conference rooms / halls / offices / etc... i do their main restaurant tonite and begin the halls next month. so far this is my largest acct

i also have 2 demo's setup which i forsee becoming clients.

not bad for 3.5 hours of canvassing on a slow day.

aside from that day of canvassing, i also have a demo set for tomorrow of a 50k sq.ft. office building tomorrow...hope my lil one-man operation can handle it.

thanx for all the inspiration fellas!!!

take care all --- Derek.

Congrats buddy.
yes, you can do anysize place, you may just have to do some brainstorming and prioritize areas and make multiple trips. NO biggie. I do it all the time.
Work with the management.
If it is an account worth having, they will work with you and help you. After all, they have alot to benefit by your expertise and professionalism.
Continued Success and good luck with the other accounts that are in the 'maybe zone'. They will get onboard sometime. Keep after them in a good sort of way. 'Positive persistence' pays off.

Derek -

What I do to fight natural human laziness/discouragement is write down those numbers and remind myself that it can be done again.

Not bad for a few hours of work, eh?
