Soileze Question

August 20 2004 at 9:29 PM
Mark Stanley

Rick,

Lately, I have been using the Cimex (Releasit DS - FP pads) to clean cut pile residential carpets. I do believe I'm getting the hang of using this system in the residential setting. So far, all clients have been very impressed with the results [I perform a quick post bonnet after Cimexing].

It really makes the clients happy when I go over the list of great things that the Releasit imparts to the carpet (especially the protector part of the equation).

I was wondering something......

What would happen if I added some Soileze to my tankful of Releasit-DS? Since the Soileze is compatible with Releasit, I'm guessing that adding Soileze to the tank wouldn't effect the cleaning (improve it, maybe?) and would only leave the carpet much more soil repellant.

Am I wrong here?

Mark,

Your theory has not been tested yet. But it stands to reason that your idea would work. Yes Soileze is compatible with Releasit EncapClean. Including Soileze should accomplish three things --- 1 it will increase soil resistance (Soileze is an excellent protector), ---- 2 it will increase surfactancy by lowering the surface tension, and ---- 3 the crystallized residue should release from the fiber even easier. Although this is an untested idea, there should not be any problem with trying this because the chemistry is compatible. However I don't have dilutions to give you, since this concept hasn't been evaluated. If you decide to pursue this please let us know what you come up with.

i have used it residentially about 6 times (berber only) and only on 1 job did i carry it up the steps (homeowner helped me). all cut pile carpets i refer to friends to clean (HWE).
