Are you referring to "Wick Backs"?

Encapsulation with Releasit is capable of fix that problem very nicely. That's one of the areas where this system stands out!

If you used the Fiber Plus Pads, go back over the area with a cotton bonnet, and a prespray instead of shower feeding it. Use Releasit Encapsulating Detergent again, not another product.

use a sprayer to lightly dampin just the top, than hit it with a swing machine w/white pad, or also I use cheap white towels. I'm sure you can get them at Family Dollar, lol.

Bonnet works better

Mr. Heacocks method works lots more gooder.

We have always done that. Learned the hard way not to saturate it with the sprayer. It won't do a bit of good if you saturate it. Just a light gentle mist like an afternoon shower in the Amazon rain forests.

Dollar General towels? Is there anything left under your pad driver when your done? For sure better vacuum it then.

Doug-

The only time I had a problem was when I did not vacuum beforehand sufficiently, and that was at the beginning of using Releasit Encapsulating Detergent. I learned quick, so always after that, I made sure and gave the job a REAL thorough vacuuming. No subsequent problems.

That said, it is always possible, and for several years I use DirtGetter bonnets when I do bonnet cleaning in addition to the thick cotton or nylon bonnets, or HWE system. These thin bonnets remove some more soil, plus help dry the carpet. It might be a good idea to have some of these on hand for problem jobs.
