don't have my exstractor with me today, account called, dried it up with the floor dry stuff, but still stinks. I have my spotter kit and encap junk with me. I also have a bunch of terry pads with me. I'll plan on dowsing with reliesit, and pad up a couple times and a mist with deoderizer. anything else?

Brian,

That approach sounds a little pale. Vomit is a bio-contaminant that really needs to be thoroughly rinsed.

Here' what I'd recommend...

1. An enzyme digester should be applied first. Allow a few minutes of dwell time.
2. Extract, extract, extract. The more you rinse the spot the better.
3. Apply a quality deodorizer. Or better yet, use straight tea tree oil in a dilution of alcohol.

Hope it works out for ya Brian.

Good post rick.
I would get the solide up.. I know,. YUCK
Extract all that I could, soak with a digesting enzyme.
and from my van, i would put some BacOut from BOK and let her 'stay as she lays'

I have done lots of these kinds of problems, and one important point is to remove as much as possible before applying any chemical to it.

Scrape off, or if still damp, blot up, vac away what is possible with portable, Truck Mount or wet and dry vac. Then what remains is easier to deal with, and less likely to go down into the padding or flooring.

I prefer to apply a digester first, and rinse out as much as possible before doing the cleaning thing.
