Customer Concerns 2

Wow - just got in and have a similiar situation. Just finished 2 floors of a nice hotel in our area. We have cleaned for them for the last year, initiall with TM HWE and now the (Awesome) Cimex/Releasit system. Today, as we were cleaning the hallways, their own people were extracting some rooms with an old Windsor extractor. The cleaning people watched us and then after we were gone rubbed a rag across areas that we cleaned and the rag came up soiled. I explained the process again to the manager, and assured her that we will take care of any concerns, but my question is.... have you had this situation before? Will this happen with a rag in 2 days after it completely crystallizes?? Help

Darren

PS - carpet was low level blend, sorta sculptured, not very visibly soiled.

Thanks

until it is post-vac'ed by their maintenance staff, the crystallized soil (which isnt visible) remains.

honestly, the same thing would happen if you rubbed a white terry cloth over there Winsor cleaned carpet.

stinks when ppl have to cause problems like that >

thanx --- Derek.

What Derek said is true. If they ran a white rag across hot water extracted carpet it would come up gray too.

Look at this another way. Let's say you pull up with your truckmount and hot water extract the same carpets. After you're done you go and empty your recovery tank and stand there with a proud smile as you watch the dark water ooze from the tank. You pat yourself on the back and say "man I'm a good cleaner". Now consider this. What is the color of the water that remains in the carpet? It's the same water that's in your recovery tank isn't it?

So here are a couple of options:

1. Go to Home Depot and get a PVC fitting that corresponds to the diameter of your vac hose. Attach the fitting and your vac hose to the axle on the Cimex machine. Now run the hose out to your truckmount that is idling in the parking lot.

2. Hand out blindfolds to their staff before you start and don't let them remove them until the elves are done with their work.

3. Smack-em up side their silly heads and tell them to leave the carpet cleaning to the professional.

Now any of the options above would work. But I'm kind of partial to the third one.

I dunno. I sorta like #1.

When that does not work, go directly to #3.
