Residential Carpet Cleaning

Garrett

I just recently purchased a cimex with the FiberPlus pads, infact some trucker is in route rushing it to my business as I type. The question I have, is the Cimex recomended for residential,, IE.. Berber, Oliefin, ETC.. I have spoken with other pleased owners who only do comercial. It seems the carpet mills neither endorse nor do they FORBID use on Res carpet.I have spoken with Rick, and would appreciate an unbiased opinion of others who have used this machine on Res carpet.

Thank You
Garrett Martin

It works in residential no problem, well one, if you are a one man operation getting in up and down stairs is a real problem, other than that no reason why it won't do a good job.

I use the cimex on a regular basis in homes....It just depends on what your customers want. If I'm looking at a trashed carpet, I prefer to use my TM, but if a carpet is in pretty good condition and the customer wants quick drying times, cimex with the fiber plus pads all the way. Another option is to get the cotton bonnets and post bonnet with the cimex after using HWE. I just like having options. BTW, I've also stripped floors, scrubbed tile and concrete, cleaned and polished wood floors, and I really like leaving the chair mats down when I'm doing commercial work and going right over the top of them. Cleans them up real nice. Tom

i LOVE the Mex / Encap system on Berbers...really makes them shine!

yes stairs are the biggest problem for myself, being a one man show.

Tom makes some great points :
- the Mex works as good or better than a rotary on Stripping / Scrubbing Vinyl Tile.
- run that sucker right over those chair mats....easier for you and the clients love clean chairmats

thanx and enjoy your new toy --- Derek.
