Has anyone gone full time with commercial jobs using the cimex/encap setup? Is it worthwhile & profitable? Im thinking about doing more comm. and less resi until it all becomes comm. Has anyone done this?

My cleaning company has been full time in commercial cleaning since I started it in 1982. I made a BRIEF slide in and out of the residential market a few years ago. I was thinking that I ought to get the trucks running in the daytime too, so I started marketing to high end residential and got that side of the business going. But after a couple of years of doing residential I dumped all of it. Just wasn't for us. We LOVE commercial! More $$$ per hour and less hassle. We currently run 3 Cimex machines that what we service our commercial accounts with. We do a little hard floor care too. It's been a great business for us.

i'm with you Joe, trying to get Comm CC'ing only, but it will take time for me. in the meantime i will do some resi work when i have the chance and like the job.

several others here do only comm work like Rick. do a search, i posted a similar thread several months back and several ppl replied.

We're somewhat like Rick. We used to do only commercial, but now do some residential. We don't mind it as much as I was concerned. Probably will continue it.

But residential is still about 10-15% of our company.
