| Does anyone out there have a presentation to large commercial customers they dont mind sharing with me? I was thinking in the lines of a powerpoint presentation printed out, etc, or something similar that I can modify and use. Im trying to get big jobs for my Cimex/Releasit combo. It would save me a TON of time. In a previous life, I was an illustrator & web designer, so I can do it myself, but im not sure of the content, and how it would flow to facilitate closing the deal, etc. I was considering Violand's packages, but dont have the $$ to spend right now. once I get the ball rolling, I want to buy his package.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Joe
PS I would love to help anyone who can help me with this, even with web design advice, or logo design, etc. |

Joe,
That is a great idea and at the very least I would like to do a photo presentation. However, until I put it together, I have been doing cold calls to learn the contact's name. Sometimes I even get to see him (or her). If not, I send them a letter and then follow up with a phone call. I basically tell 'em all about this great technology, discuss the wicking problem and how this often eliminates it, and then offer to do an area free of charge. I have made headway with lots of interest and have just recently done a couple of demos that I will follow up on next week. When you talk about the wicking problem and eliminating it or at least greatly reducing it, you have their attention. Then I let the Cimex/Releasit speak for itself. |

You have to win over the receptionist or sales clerk or whoever your first contact is. Do that by showing them you know how important they are. Share your product knowledge with them. After all, this person is the one that will determine if your business card gets in the hands of the boss or if it goes in the trash can. If you can't see the boss right then, treating his (or her) "first line of defense" (against people like you, me and other sales people)with the proper respect will at least get you the boss' name, phone number and mailing address. |

do a search on this forum for marketing material and jim wolverton. some good stuff has been posted before which is mostly all what i use.
i hit the pavement (i call it canvassing) before i call a prospect...i'm wondering if skipping the canvassing and instead just cold calling would get similar results sometimes...that'd save me alotta time if it did (and ink / paper). i'll have to try it to find out. seems to me that handing the receptionist my envelope and at the same time asking who i'd contact to setup a free demonstration, would work better.
thanx --- Derek. |

Hi Joe,
Who is Violand? What does he do? Does he have a website?
Anyone heard from our great friend, Jim Wolverton, lately? How is he?
Have Fun!
